Groth Wins His First WSOP Bracelet

The man from Omaha, NE Groth has earned his first WSOP (World Series of Poker) bracelet after winning the $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Event. He had to ward off the challenge of the strong 1058 entries to win the title. By winning the $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Event, Tyler took home the top prize money of $179,126. The 32-year-old poker player is very happy with this achievement. He is a former online poker player. This is Groth’s first cash win and he is delighted about it.

Groth said that he quit his broker job that he earned after the Black Friday in 2011 to become a professional poker. He decided that he did not want to face the music of bosses and wanted to move back to poker. This is his eighth or ninth WSOP event and he is happy to have finally won the top prize and the bracelet.
